The Garden

Green Fingers

When this level begins, you’ll be informed of its main schtick: May has a water hose she can shoot and Cody has a vine on his head that can be used to pull things. Both abilities can be used as follow: press LT/L2 to aim and RT/R2 to shoot. May also has a sickle she can use like a sword. Press RT/R2 to attack with it.

At the the start of the level is a giant bulb plant. Cody should pull down its front flap and May should sickle attack the yellow globules within until the bulb plant explodes. Walk forward along the path before you and have May destroy the yellow blobs on the plant on the left. After that, she should water the soil pot to the right. It will cause some sprouts to grow. Now, Cody should ground pound it to become a dandelion.

He can then float across to the other side. Up here, he should notice a hook-like plant hanging down. Cody should use his vine to pull it down for May. She can now grapple across. After this, head forward until a cutscene begins. You’ll learn that Cody’s passion, a la his greenhouse, has been overcome with a purple poison. The goal is to take it out.

Head forward down the pathway and at the bottom, you’ll spot a pot with soil. May should water it so that some cactus plants grow. Cody should then ground pound that soil to become a cactus who can basically shoot cactus thorns like a machine gun.
